Once the homework is finished it is bedtime, so the family has had no quality time together. This takes away from important family bonding time.
Having too much homework can stress kids out. If we have to stay up late to finish it, we’ll be tired in class the next day. That can affect learning and cause us to dislike school. Homework also puts pressure on parents. After a long day of work, many parents still have to help their kids to do their homework.
