Fifteen year old Raniya Hosain has been named the Senior Winner in the Royal Commonwealth Society’s 2014 Commonwealth Essay Competition. Her winning entry was chosen by a panel of Commonwealth.
R.A. Butler Politics Prize The R.A. Butler Prize for essays in Politics and International Studies is a competition that can be entered by students in Year 12 or the Lower 6th. Candidates are invited to submit an essay on a topic to be chosen from a list of general questions announced in March each year, and to be submitted in August.
Essay Competition. The ISA Essay Competition is the annual opportunity for pupils at ISA Members’ Schools to allow their writing skills to shine. Wordsmiths are invited to submit entries for a range of competition prizes aimed at age groups from year five through to sixth form. Well done to all the pupils who took part in the competition this.
Essay Prize 2020. The Robinson College Essay Prize is open to all students currently in Year 12 (Lower Sixth, or equivalent) at a UK School. It is designed to give students the opportunity to develop and showcase their independent study and writing skills.

RES Essay Prize 2020 RES Essay Prize. The Review of English Studies is now inviting entries for its 2020 Essay Prize. The RES Essay Prize aims to encourage scholarship amongst postgraduate research students in Britain and abroad.The essay can be on any topic of English literature or the English language from the earliest period to the present.
Call for submissions is now open! The British Society for the History of Mathematics is pleased to invite submissions for its 2020 undergraduate essay prize. The essay may be on any topic within the history of mathematics and should be no more than 2500 words in length (excluding references). The competition is open to any person who is enrolled as an undergraduate in a UK or Irish university.
